First you will receive a confirmation mail which acknowledges receipt of sponsorship of the farm, the location of the farm you sponsored, the farm cycle tenure and the end date of your farm cycle. On periodic basis, you will receive farm updates which keeps you abreast of all activities on your farm, from the beginning to the end of the farm cycle. This includes reports, pictures and videos showing the progress being made at different stages of the farming season. There are farm visits to observe operations and farm activities. We also have a dashboard on the website where sponsors can log in and monitor their progress.
It is dependent on the crop selected, usually between 6 and 12 months.
The initial sponsorship sum and returns after harvest will be paid into the account details provided by you on your profile and in the agreement signed.
The profit generated at the end of the farm cycle is shared between the Farm 360 and all corporate farmers/sponsors who invested based on agreed percentages as indicated in the agreement.
The minimum number of farms you can sponsor is one acre of any farm, and you can sponsor as many acres as you so choose but this is subject to the number of acres available after sign up.
General farm visits are organized on a periodic basis for our corporate farmers. Notifications are usually sent out to sponsors informing them of the visit and we usually ask them to confirm their availability for the visit. Members may also put in their request for a farm visit, this can be organised as well but subject to certain terms and conditions.
Each of our farms have a fixed farm cycle period. This is determined by taking into cognisance the gestation period required for each farm to go from beginning to the harvest stage. As it is virtually impossible to willfully interrupt the growth life cycle of any crop before maturity, we will not be able to ‘terminate’ the farm cycle of any given farm. However, at the end of the stipulated farm cycle, and the sponsor has received his farm sponsorship and returns after harvest, the decision to re-sponsor another farm or otherwise, is entirely the sponsor’s decision.
Yes. All the farms of Farm 360 are covered with a comprehensive insurance policy. Our company uses the proactive approach to ensure that clients do not lose their sponsorship amounts hence Farm 360 ensures that our clients’ sponsorships are insured with the Ghana Agricultural Insurance Pool (GAIP) per farming cycle. Upon any farming contingency, clients are assured of their sum assured from GAIP which can be either claimed by the client or there could be a renegotiation for roll over by the client.
We currently cultivate Okra and Orange Flesh Sweet Potatoes. At any given time, the company is proactive to research into other premium crops that will ensure maximum benefits to our clients.
They are exported either through third party or internal export to the international markets such as US, UK, Dubai and China.
“Innovation precedes regulation” We are a farm management and farm consultancy firm. Our primary goal is engaging in farming activities. We manage farms on behalf of people and as part of our consulting and management role, share the profits with them. We however take steps to insure all our farms to ensure that our clients’ sponsorships are protected. In addition, we have taken steps to engage the Securities Exchange Commission Ghana for regulation awaiting Crowd Funding Policy.
No. This is not a Ponzi scheme. First, there are farm visits for members to see for themselves the progress. Secondly, there are finished products which are exported to the international market. Most importantly, should there be loss of crops, the insurance package covers your investment.
